Designed by Allison from the Daytona Homes design team, the home pairs classic chalet details with modern finishes to create a space that feels cozy and inviting, while still fresh and elevated.
A Modern Take on Chalet Style
“The Mustang Show Home was designed to capture the feeling of being at a modern chalet retreat, somewhere warm, inviting and elevated,” says Allison.
That inspiration can be seen throughout the home. A pine-planked ceiling and ceiling beams bring warmth and character to the space, while stone around the fireplace adds to the natural, chalet-inspired feel.
Rather than taking the theme too literally, Allison balanced those more traditional elements with contemporary details. Bold black accents add contrast throughout the home, while warm gold lighting and soft, marble-inspired countertops give the space a more refined finish.

Designed to Feel Like a Retreat
The inspiration behind the Mustang wasn’t just about creating a certain look. Allison wanted the home to have the same sense of comfort you might feel during a weekend away in the mountains.
Warm wood, stone, soft finishes and layered lighting all work together to give the home a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
“This home was made to feel like an escape from the busyness of everyday life and be a cozy, quiet retreat for you to slow down, unwind and feel at home,” says Allison.
It’s a style that feels special without feeling overly formal. The mix of natural materials and modern finishes gives the Mustang plenty of personality while keeping the home comfortable and livable.
