A Community Built Together: Celebrating Our Final Home in Bonavista

A Community Built Together: Celebrating Our Final Home in Bonavista

After nearly a decade of building homes, making memories, and welcoming new neighbours, we've officially sold our final home in Bonavista.

It's a milestone that fills us with both pride and gratitude.

Since Daytona Homes began building in Bonavista in 2016, we've had the privilege of welcoming 235 families home. Over the years, we've watched empty lots become welcoming streets, neighbours become friends, and a vision for a vibrant community become a place that hundreds of families are proud to call home.

As we close this chapter, we're taking a moment to celebrate everything Bonavista has become, and to thank every homeowner who trusted Daytona Homes to be part of their story.

From Vision to Vibrant Community

When Bonavista first began taking shape, it was envisioned as a neighbourhood where nature, recreation, and modern living could exist in perfect balance.

Today, that vision is a reality.

Residents enjoy scenic walking and cycling pathways, four beautiful naturalized wetlands, expansive green spaces, and thoughtfully designed parks that encourage connection with nature every day. At the centre of it all is Fraipont Park, a destination inspired by Manitoba's prairie landscape, featuring gathering spaces, recreation opportunities, and the iconic lookout offering panoramic views throughout every season.

Located within an established area of Winnipeg, Bonavista also provides easy access to schools, shopping, community centres, and the Seine River, making it an ideal place to build a life.

Homes for Every Stage of Life

One of the things we're most proud of is the variety of homes we were able to build throughout the community.

Over the past nine years, Daytona Homes welcomed homeowners into a range of thoughtfully designed home styles, including:

  • Duplexes

  • Townhomes

  • Rear Lane Homes

  • Front-Attached Garage Homes

Whether it was a first-time buyer stepping into homeownership, a growing family needing more space, or homeowners looking for a fresh start, Bonavista became the backdrop for countless new beginnings.

Watching Bonavista grow from a developing neighbourhood into the thriving community it is today has been incredibly rewarding. While our work in Bonavista has come to an end, knowing that so many families continue to call it home is something we'll always be proud of.
